The drum paddle, also known as a drum lifter or drum baffle, is fitted inside the washing machine drum and helps lift and circulate clothes during the wash cycle. If a paddle becomes cracked, loose or broken, clothes may not move correctly through the water and can sometimes become caught or damaged. Replacing the damaged paddle helps restore proper laundry movement and washing performance.
